The Apera DO850 Portable Optical Dissolved Oxygen Meter Kit is a portable Dissolved Oxygen (DO) measuring instrument that uses luminescent optical DO sensor technology to deliver fast, stable, and accurate dissolved oxygen measurements. Equipped with a 10 ft (approximately 3 m) probe cable, this instrument offers high flexibility for both field sampling and laboratory use.

The optical DO technology in the DO850 does not use membranes or electrolytes, so the probe does not consume oxygen during the measurement process. This makes the measurement independent of water flow and suitable for use in both still and flowing water.

The DO850 is designed with a low-maintenance system. Its optical sensor does not require routine membrane replacement or electrolyte refilling. The luminescent cap has a lifespan of more than 8,000 hours, while a special coating on the sensor helps protect against ambient light interference and chemical exposure.
