-
shipbuilding and marine structures
-
aerospace and aviation component inspection
-
railway manufacturing and maintenance
-
pressure vessel and boiler testing
-
oil and gas pipelines
-
petrochemical and chemical production facilities
-
military and defense manufacturing
-
machinery and structural steel fabrication
Its radiographic imaging system allows detailed internal analysis of welds, castings, and structural components without damaging the material.
Working Principle
The device emits high-voltage X-rays that penetrate the material under inspection. Differences in thickness and density affect the absorption of X-rays, creating contrasts on special radiographic film. These contrasts reveal flaws such as cracks or inclusions. The unit uses a rectifier-based power system and a sealed X-ray tube to generate and direct the radiation.
After exposure, the film is developed and analyzed to interpret the type, size, and position of internal defects.
