Product Overview

The Mitech MH-320 is a portable Leeb hardness tester designed for fast, accurate, and non-destructive hardness measurements of metal materials in various environments. Engineered for convenience and efficiency, it supports multiple hardness scales including Leeb (HL), Brinell (HB), Rockwell (HRB/HRC/HRA), Vickers (HV), and Shore (HS), making it highly versatile across industrial applications.

The MH-320 is equipped with a high-resolution 128×64 dot matrix LCD and a built-in thermal printer, allowing users to view and instantly print results on-site. With features such as automatic impact direction recognition, low power consumption, and multi-material compatibility, this tester is ideal for inspecting large, fixed, or assembled components directly in the field.

Key Features

  • Supports conversion between multiple hardness scales (HL, HB, HRB, HRC, HRA, HV, HS)

  • Automatic recognition of impact direction (vertical, oblique, horizontal, upward)

  • Built-in high-speed thermal printer for immediate report generation

  • Compact and lightweight design, easy to carry and operate on-site

  • High-resolution LCD for clear data display in all lighting conditions

  • Durable ABS plastic housing for industrial and field use

  • Stores up to 100 measurement groups (up to 500 data points)

  • Long battery life with up to 150 hours of continuous operation

  • USB communication port for data export and connectivity

Applications

  • Testing die cavities in molds

  • Inspection of bearings and other small parts

  • Failure analysis on pressure vessels and boilers

  • Testing large or immovable metal components

  • Hardness checking of installed or assembled machinery

  • Identification of unknown metal materials in warehouses

  • Rapid multi-point testing across wide surfaces of large parts

Working Principle

The MH-320 measures hardness using the Leeb rebound method. A test body strikes the material and rebounds, with the rebound velocity relative to the impact velocity determining the hardness value. This measurement is then converted into various common hardness scales depending on the material and testing standard.
