Equipped with a high-resolution graphical display and simple two-key operation, the CEL-246 enables intuitive use even for non-technical users. It displays instantaneous and maximum dB readings, offers A and C frequency weighting options, and supports fast, slow, and impulse time weightings. What sets the CEL-246 apart is its ability to measure and store equivalent continuous sound levels (Leq) and average levels (Lavg), making it suitable for ongoing noise exposure assessments.

The instrument also includes data logging functionality with the ability to store up to 419,000 time-stamped data points, which can be downloaded to a PC via USB using the optional software. It is fully compatible with the CEL-120 acoustic calibrator for quick and easy calibration checks.
