Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window
Product Description and Specifications – Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window
Product Overview Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window:
Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window provides secure and instant access to critical power quality and energy data—without the need to open panel doors. Designed to reduce arc flash risks and improve safety during power quality analysis, the PQ400 enables uninterrupted measurements with minimal disruption to operations.
This permanently installed interface helps reduce testing time, lower maintenance costs, and enhance worker safety by eliminating the need for direct contact with live components during routine monitoring. It’s a powerful tool for professionals seeking compliance, efficiency, and safety—without compromise.
Key Features Fluke PQ400 Electrical Measurement Window:
-
Enhanced Safety: Enables critical power quality and energy measurements without opening the panel door, minimizing arc flash and shock hazards.
-
Continuous Monitoring Without Interruptions: Take measurements anytime without interrupting operations or requiring shutdowns.
-
Reduces Permit Requirements: Lowers the need for arc flash PPE and permits by eliminating the risk of working on exposed live panels.
-
Built-in Voltage and Current Sensors: Permanently installed inside the panel to provide safe access to measurement points from the outside.
-
Automatic Probe Detection: Works seamlessly with Fluke 1740 and 1730 series loggers—no need to open cabinets to verify clamp compatibility.
-
Full 360° Orientation: PQ400 window can be installed in any direction for flexible placement.
-
Easy Installation: Mounts quickly using a step drill and hydraulic punch (hole size: 114.3 mm / 4.5 in).
-
High Safety Ratings: Rated CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V as per IEC61010-2-030 standards.
-
Standard 4mm Safety Socket Compatibility: Compatible with common voltage test leads, improving operator safety and reducing the need for custom cables.
How It Works:
The Fluke PQ400 is a permanently installed interface mounted onto electrical panels. It allows users to connect voltage, current, and ground leads through an external access window—without opening the panel. After installation, simply unlock and open the window, connect your logger’s voltage and current leads to the front panel, and begin your power quality measurements. Once complete, disconnect the test leads and close the window. The internal connections remain ready for future use, ensuring safe and efficient recurring measurements.
