Purpose:
This apparatus is designed to assess the corrosiveness of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by immersing a polished copper strip into the sample within a test cylinder at an elevated temperature. After an hour, the copper strip is removed and evaluated against the ASTM Copper Strip Corrosion Standards.

LPG Corrosion Test Water Bath:
- Functionality: A temperature-controlled water bath designed to submerge five LPG Corrosion Test Cylinders in an upright position.
- Temperature Control: Maintains a consistent temperature of 100 ± 1°F (37.8 ± 0.5°C) in accordance with ASTM specifications.
- Construction: Features a polished stainless steel inner wall and a powder-coated steel outer wall. The bath is fully insulated for optimal performance.
LPG Corrosion Test Cylinder:
- Material: Stainless steel construction with 1⁄4” needle valves for both purging and admitting LPG samples.
- Design: Includes a dip tube with a hook for suspending the copper strip within the sample. The cylinder features a knurled, threaded cap with an O-ring gasket for a secure, hand-tightened seal.
- Durability: Withstands hydrostatic test pressures up to 1000 psig (6895 kPa).
