Operating Principle
The MFD620C functions on the pulse-echo ultrasonic testing method. It transmits a short ultrasonic pulse into the test material using a transducer. When the pulse encounters a flaw or discontinuity, it is reflected back and displayed on the screen. By measuring the time interval and amplitude of the echoes, the device can determine the location and type of defect.
