Mitech MHBRVS-187.5 Digital Brinell, Rockwell & Vickers Hardness Tester
Product Overview
The Mitech MHBRVS-187.5 is a digital multifunctional hardness tester designed to perform Brinell, Rockwell, and Vickers hardness measurements in a single, integrated unit. Equipped with a responsive touchscreen interface and a built-in embedded operating system, the device combines ease of use with high accuracy and reliability. This model is ideal for precision testing in industrial, academic, and research environments where multiple hardness scales are required.
Using either a conical diamond or spherical carbide ball indenter, the MHBRVS-187.5 determines hardness based on indentation depth or diameter, depending on the selected test method. With a compact and durable structure, the instrument includes advanced features such as a displacement sensor for accurate depth measurement, adjustable cold light illumination, and a high-speed printer for real-time report generation.

Working Principle
The MHBRVS-187.5 applies a standardized force to a test surface through an indenter (diamond or carbide ball). The hardness is determined either by measuring the indentation depth (Rockwell and Vickers) or the diameter (Brinell). The system automatically calculates and displays the corresponding hardness value, and for Brinell and Vickers methods, conversion tables are used as needed.
