Working Principle

The Mitech XXG2505 generates high-energy X-rays that pass through the material being tested. As the rays traverse the object, their intensity is reduced depending on the density and thickness of the material. This variation is captured on a special X-ray film placed behind the test object, producing a visual contrast that reveals internal flaws. The system uses a silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) and pulse transformer to produce and regulate the high-voltage output required for X-ray generation.
